Website review: Respiro Media

I’d like to tell you about a design agency that got my attention recently. Based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Respiro Media is an agency that provides premium custom design services. It was considered by smashingmagazine.com as one of the trendsetter websites in web design in 2009.

The wooden background, which is part of a comely chromatic scheme, offers a warm and familiar feeling. Each category of the site contains a collage of coherent-grouped elements; the letterpress effect applied on the headlines (see image below) is again quite a new trend in web design.  What really caught my eye in the designs was the attention paid to each particular detail. Nothing ‘just happens to be there’, the way each element is combined has a story behind. RespiroMedia has a coherent, organic, elegant and efficient style; not only makes the things look good, it makes them work optimally, an aspect which is often neglected in web design.

RespiroMedia’s portfolio gets more and more solid, due to high quality services, and also to the agency’s abilities to communicate efficiently with its customers.  Getting solid requires some strengths. In-depth needs analysis of the customer and offering the perfect solution, are just two of them.
